The
President of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro Dr. Mladen Vukcevic had
a meeting with the head of the OSCE mission in Montenegro Mr. Jorgen
Grunnet, deputy head of mission Stefan Kraus, and legal analyst Yessie
Pilgrim.
Participants
at the meeting expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation of OSCE and
the Constitutional Court in previous elections and the will to
continue those relations in the elections scheduled for the 10th of
September.

The
President of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro Dr. Mladen Vukcevic, has
been invited to participate in the Circle of Presidents Preparatory meeting
of the Conference of European Constitutional Courts, by the President of the
Constitutional Court of Lithuania.
The
Preparatory meeting shall take place on the 7th of September 2006 in
Vilnius, Lithuania.

The
head of the European Agency for Reconstruction Mr. Rainer Freund and Ms.
Regina de Dominicis visited the Constitutional Court of Montenegro.
During
a meeting with the President of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro Dr.
Mladen Vukčević mutual readiness was expressed to mantain long term
cooperation starting with the implementation of the "Joint
program of the European Agency for Reconstruction and the Council of Europe
give support to the Constitutional Courts of Montenegro and Serbia".

The
President of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro Dr. Mladen Vukcevic will
attend a conference in Moscow entitled "Unique European legal space and
Constitutional Court practice" which will be held from 26th to 27th of
November, through an invitation by V.D. Zorkin the President of the Russian
Federation Constitutional Court.
The
conference is part of a programme organized by the Ministry Committee of the
Council of Europe in cooperation with the Venice Committee, aimed at
harmonizing European Constitutional Court practice in the domain of human
rights.

"Conrad
Adenauer" foundation representatives Miss Stefanie Roos, director of
the “State of law” program and Miss Claudia Nolte, director of the
Conrad Adenauer foundation for Serbia and Montenegro are going to visit the
Constitutional Court of Montenegro and speak with the President of the Court
Dr. Mladen Vukčević and present their views concerning future
collaboration between the Court and the foundation.
Their
working visit to Montenegro, planned as a part of the “State of law”
program for the 16th of June, aims at evaluating the possibilities of
collaboration and aid to Montenegrin institutions.

The
President of the Constitutional Court of Serbia Slobodan Vučetić,
on his own behalf and on behalf of the Constitutional Court of
Serbia, has congratulated the President of the Constitutional Court of
Montenegro Dr. Mladen Vukčević regarding the proclamation of independence
of the Republic of Montenegro.
The
president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Constitutional Court
professor Dr. Nedjo Milićević also sent his congratulations.

session of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Montenegro will be
held on 07.06.2006.

Constitutional
Court judges and advisors will attend a seminar on the subject of International
legal aid, scheduled for the fifth of June in Podgorica, arranged by the
Judge training center.

The
President of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro Dr. Mladen Vukčević is
meeting with the members of the delegation of the European agency for
reconstruction on 31.05.2006, during their visit to Montenegro.
The
delegation consists of Mr. Jose Cremades (Directorate for strategic planning
chief), Ms. Diana Radu (department for coordination member) and Mr. Vladimir
Ristovski, chief of office of the European Council general Secretariat in
Podgorica.

The
President of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro Dr Mladen Vukcevic had a
meeting with Mrs Ana Spasic-Grgurovic from the Centre for judge training.
She briefed him about the program “Center for judge training support”
and informed him that an English language course for interested judges and
apprentices is a part of the program.
As
a result of their meeting, a two month English language course for The
Constitutional Court of Montenegro judges and apprentices, will be arranged.

The
President of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro Dr Mladen Vukcevic, on
the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of Italy Mr.
Annibalo Marini, will attend a ceremony in honor of the 50th
anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Italy, which will take place in
Rome on 22nd
April (Saturday), along with the President of the Republic of Italy Carlo
Azeglio Ciampi and other
Italian high officials.
